today was somewhat surreal. i woke up. went to the gym and surprisingly saw N after quite a long time. have a little history with him, so we'll have to catch up soon since our lives have changed tenfold since that summer. before i went in the studio, i just had to spend some time outside. i had a quick rollerblading sess and basically that was the start to this amazing summer day.
studio work gave me the opportunity to be creative and use some graphic design skills to create a few cool new products for us. then i had the best idea i've had in awhile.... the other day we bought one bag of limes, one bag of lemons, and one bag of oranges from costco. who knew what we thought we were going to do with all of that fruit, but i found a solution.
behold the most delicious flavored water known to shoreview, minnesota. the pitcher looks like a piece of art. it's almost too gorgeous to drink... almost. add into the mix a little orange sherbet that R brought over during a study session... and we are in summer heaven.
as i sip this delectable beverage, i would like to give a toast to all of my girls that have made every one of the last three summers an absolute blast.... K, C, R, and M, i cannot for wait what the future has in store for each of us.
today was the start to a glorious summer.
the first summer of my post-college life.
